The Priddy Scholarship is awarded at the end-of-season Awards Banquet to a deserving senior who was a member in good standing of the Full Armour Volleyball Club. This scholarship is dedicated to Charles Priddy, who tragically passed away in 1996 while traveling in Texas to watch his daughter play college volleyball. Mr. Priddy was a devoted Christian who worked multiple jobs while also serving full-time as a guidance counselor in Austin, Texas. He and his wife, Mary Jane Priddy, were married for nearly 30 years, spending much of their free time cheering on their three active children as they competed in sports. Mr. Priddy was an avid hunter and cherished the time he spent vacationing in Colorado. His love for the state was shared by two of his children, who later chose to make it their home. Known for his quick wit and unconditional love for his family and friends, Mr. Priddy was a man who placed God above all else and eagerly shared His word with anyone who would listen. He was also deeply committed to helping his students pursue higher education. Through this scholarship, we hope to support a young athlete in continuing their education, honoring the legacy of Charles Priddy.
